Chunky Icelandic Blanket

This super chunky crochet blankie in the pictures below is just the very epitome of a warm thick wrap. Exactly as the name of this projects says! I mean, is there anyone who understands better how to make a warm blankie than people who live way up north in the middle of the Atlantic? Let me know if you like this project!

Clover Meadows Throw

There is something about clover that just speaks to me - summer! Clover was the inspiration behind this light weight summer throw! This throw would also make a great wedding gift! For this pattern you will need six balls of the Touch of Alpaca Bonus Bundle by Lion Brand and a 5.5 mm crochet hook. This pattern is rated as an easy crochet pattern because of it's repetitions. It is worked as one piece. This pattern includes a free video tutorial.

Perfectly Provincial 12" Crochet Square Pattern

What could be more romantic than the French Provincial style? This free 12" afghan square crochet pattern is one of my most textured pieces to date--imagine flowers, vines, trellises, ornate framework on mirrors and table legs--oh my! Incorporating this square into an afghan or home decor project is guaranteed to take to the next level. Knowing how to work post stitches, clusters, shells, and popcorn stitches will make this project go much more smoothly, but the amount of color changes could still slow you down. Allow a bit of extra time to complete this project. You'll feel more relaxed and happy this way, which is the whole point of crochet!

Touch of Teal Afghan

The Touch of Teal Afghan… This is a super easy crochet pattern using only front loop single crochet and back loop double crochet to create the base… The edging is a simple shell pattern. Using a super bulky yarn, this really goes quickly!!! This is a perfect project to make while watching Tv.. Also this makes a perfect gift and will look great in any room of the house!! I used Michael's Loops and Threads Country Loom Yarn in Clear Skies.

Mulberry Throw Pattern

This blanket was actually meant to be a baby blanket, but I loved it so much I just made it bigger and kept it for myself. It's a thick and heavy blanket that's so perfect for snuggling into to watch a movie or read a book, which I do a lot of during the Fall/Winter. It's a super easy crochet blanket, but it feels luxurious. It would be an amazing Christmas present if you're looking for something that feels high-end, but it still has a special handmade quality to it. It does use a lot of yarn since there isn't much in each skein, but I think that the wow-factor you get is totally worth it.

Multicolored Scrapghan

Take those small leftover scraps of yarn you've saved from previous crochet projects for this colorful crochet afghan. This Multicolored Scrapghan uses all your discarded yarn scraps and incorporates them into a solid-colored background to make a colorful patchwork afghan. The more scraps you want to work into your afghan, the more skeins of solid yarn you'll need. Make this blanket as long as needed so that you can finally use up all your yarn scraps for something warm and cozy.

Primrose Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern

This pattern uses simple basic crochet stitches and gives you a lovely repeating subtle texture. This striping pattern is easy to customize with any color you'd like - I went with this fun Neopolitan color scheme this time and love it!
Make up this easy to crochet blanket for your next baby or as a special gift for a friend's little bundle of joy. You really can't go wrong, and it always helps to have extra blankets around.
