Granny's Hood

Granny's Hood is actually a scoodie: a scarf with an attached hood. The scarf is made with granny squares, and the hood is made with sides of 1/4 circle grannies, and granny squares down the center. Bright, happy, rainbow colors of Sugar Bush Bold yarn are used making this piece full of joy. Due to the way the scoodie is constructed, it fits many sizes. The parts of the scoodie are joined using the join-as-you-go method, so there is no seaming. If you want the scarf to be longer or shorter, just add or subtract squares from the scarf section, it's quite simple. Brighten up the white winter with Granny's Hood!

Piel De Sirena Crochet Wrap

Hello crocheters everywhere and welcome to my blog! I've decided to start this Fall season with something twisty, so I chose to make a pastel colored crochet wrap which combines the Autumn's vibes and the leftover Summer joy... This is the "Piel De Sirena" crochet wrap. When I started this wrap I had no idea that it would turn into something wonderful. As I was working, I could only imagine a mermaid's reflective skin embodied in my stitches and yarn. That's why I decided to name this pattern the " Piel De Sirena" which translate "Mermaid skin".

Azure Skies Crochet Cowl Pattern

The Azure Skies Crochet Cowl Pattern is the second in the series I have designed for those in-between days when you don't want the bulk or weight of a longer cowl, but still need a layer of warmth around your neck, or to fold into a lightweight jacket or cardigan, with a pop of colour. Azure Skies has the same lovely broomstick lace crochet stitch as my Dolly Mixture Sweetie Crochet Cowl Pattern, adding to the texture, achieved by using a 15mm needle and a 5.5mm crochet hook. It was a bit of a happy accident that the colour changes lend themselves so well to the number of stitches used for each row.
