Galway Shawl

Inspiration comes from all places. For me I am constantly inspired by color, texture and shape. It is so incredibly special when those 3 inspirations come together for a design that pops, is beautiful, easy to make, and just a delight to wear. This Galway Shawl uses the Hedgehog yarn with its soft fiber and colors that blend and pop beautifully. You can wear this shawl as a shawl or as a comfortable scarf for the colder season.

Mariposa Shawl

Mariposa was given its name by some of the amazing artists in my local knit and crochet group because they said the shawl looks like a butterfly. I really enjoyed creating Mariposa, it's an easy and fun pattern to make and the yarn is a joy to work with. Nurturing Fibres Eco-Fusion yarn is made in South Africa, and the American distributor, Good Loops Yarn, has given me a discount code for all of you! Just look in the pattern.

Easy Infinity Scarf

I love creating crocheted scarves because they are so easy to make, they are also very quick to finish, and you can use them over and over! Since we're almost in spring, I created a lightweight spring infinity scarf that can be worn during spring time and even summer time. Is crocheted using a very fine crochet thread, but of course you can create it with bulky yard if you need something for fall or winter.

Autumn Stroll Wrap

This intermediate crochet wrap uses fingering weight yarn and combines chevron sections with a light and lacy main body. The wrap is slightly asymmetrical and can be made monochromatic, using two yarns or even a fade! The wrap works up quickly but will definitely need to be blocked to open up the stitches. There is also a YouTube video tutorial to guide you through the process. Pattern can be found on my blog along with photos.

Lady Edith's Butterfly Scarf

This light and lacy butterfly scarf inspired by Lady Edith, of Downton Abbey, and how marvelous she looks in Green. I always felt she was the beauty of the 3 girls. She was always overlooked, and under-appreciated. She is Elegant, yet simple. Quiet, yet Strong.
