Charlotte's Dream Square

Of course, the neat thing about amazing squares is that they're classy and timeless. Moreover, they often combine varying textures and colors, as in here.

Rainbow bobble heart square

Of course, this next popcorn heart blanket is as sweet as a small baby… almost (it's obvious that nothing can compare to those small hands, feets and uncontrolled grins of a tiny face :). So, let's say a rainbow bobble heart is the next sweetest thing!

Panda Emoji Square

If you're like me and my kiddos, you might use a lot of emojis in your test messages. I was scrolling through the various emoji images a few weeks ago and it occurred to me that the animal faces would make perfect corner to corner (c2c) squares! These square graphs are the perfect size for baby loveys, pillow covers (although I'd recommend going down a hook size to an H/5mm), one square of a larger blanket, one side of a tote bag, or as wall art (just add a dowel rod and hang it up!).

Elf Square

My second Christmas graph is an Elf. Did you know that Elves became linked with Santa Claus in the 1823 poem known today as "The Night Before Christmas"? In that poem, Santa Claus is referred to as a "jolly old elf". Today, we think of elves like they are depicted in the movie Elf (one of our family's favorites!); working hard in the North Pole making toys for children. These squares are the perfect size for baby loveys, pillow covers, one square of a larger blanket, one side of a tote bag, or as wall art.

Panda Bear Hug Hooded Afghan

This free crochet hooded baby afghan pattern will give your favorite child the chance to feel like a cozy little panda. The blanket is created first and then hood is added after, requiring only one simple seam at the top of the hood. The size and weight of this hooded afghan makes it great for kids approximately 1.5-5 years old. You can customize the pattern to make a crochet koala or a cute polar bear too!
