Simple Tote

"Crochet a simple and minimalist tote bag. This is a quick tote to crochet and doesn't use much yarn (about 140 yards of bulky weight yarn). The tote will hold all your necessary items (wallet, phone, credit cards, hand sanitizer and more). Beginners will love this tote as the pattern calls for only basic crochet stitches: chain, single crochet and half double crochet. Grab a skein of bulky weight #5 yarn, an L hook and a couple bamboo handles - enjoy!"

Pineapple Soap Cozy (or Small Gift Bag)

"I thought the criss crossed diamond stitch pattern was appropriate for the pattern/texture of a pineapple. This little bag is excellent for using as a soap cozy (gift a homemade soap with it!), candy/favor pouch (for a tropical party!) or as a gift bag (gift with some Summer themed earrings). You'll need about 70 yards of worsted weight yarn. I used Lily Sugar n Cream for my bag. If your bag will be a soap cozy, you want cotton yarn, but as a gift/favor bag, any yarn works. For reference, I had my bag ready in about an hour."

Gnome Luminary

"Gnomes have been one of my mom's favorites since I was little. On vacations to the Oregon Coast she would tell use she could see gnomes in the trees and tell us stories about them. She really made them come to life. Since gnomes are popular lately I thought it would be fun to make one into a luminary cover. It slips over a mason jar and I put a battery operated tea light inside. It could be used for treats or gifts too. "

Ruby Red Mary Jane Booties

From the very first day I was introduced to the magical world of the Wizard of Oz, Dorothy's ruby red slippers were a point of fascination. Being only a tiny tot the first time I ever saw the movie, I loved watching her vibrant heels click along the yellow brick road as she went on her way. Prepared to go on your own magical journey? Pick up that nifty hook and a skein of yarn and come along on this fun adventure. It won't be long before your little one will be clicking her heels together in these darling Ruby Red Mary Jane Booties."
