Winter Walk Cap

"What do you get when you combine basic crochet stitches worked in a unique way? Why this Winter Walk Crochet Cap, of course! Once in awhile I run across a pattern, fall in love with, and think “this must be hard”. But then..I go for it, read it, and discover it's one of those little crochet gems that looks amazing but is actually just easy stitches, cleverly done. My friends, THIS is that kind of hat."

Crochet Braided Headband

"Create this pretty crochet braided headband with h hook and this can be adjusted for any size. I uploaded a video if you need more help. I love how this nice pattern turned out with the Caron soft yarn. This beautiful headband is great to wear during the cold months and makes for wonderful Christmas gifts. I love how it looks like a braid when it's all finished. I think it would look neat with different colors of yarn too. "

"Simplicity is key sometimes and so this fabulous textured crochet bobble hat pattern is perfect for an understated and sophisticated look. With textured crochet post stitches running down the hat and seamless brim it gives you easy, effortless style. Great fun to make and so easy and cosy to wear too. To fit average adult head - hat measures approx 58cm in circumference with plenty of ease. Tension 15 sts and 11 rounds = 10cm by 10cm. "

Serene Beanie

"While it may be getting closer to Spring, it's still pretty cold here in Chicago, and I've been trying to find a balance between light and warm. After playing around with some of the yarn in my stash, I came up with the Serene Beanie - a beanie that adds just enough warmth to an outfit without being too heavy. To add just a bit more texture and interest to this pattern, I used a trinity stitch that helps make the beanie a little bit thicker. I love the way the rows of the stitch clusters line up all the way up the beanie and create this pebbly texture."

Child Hat and Cowl Set

This free crochet hat and cowl pattern is designed with the independent child in mind. Yep! No more fussing about that little bit of exposed skin when your child's jacket is zipped but not zipped up all the way. This cowl has them (and you) covered. I used Plymouth Encore yarn: Worsted and Colorspun. Crochet hooks: 4.5mm and 5mm This crochet pattern is sized for a child with a head circumference of 17-19 (43cm - 48cm)

Plaid crochet Earwarmer

"A plaid crochet ear warmer is just what you need to keep toasty warm as the weather gets colder. The weather is beautiful during the day here but at night it gets chilly. In the desert you can have a 20 degree drop in temperature in just a few hours. Carrying layers is a must and this crochet ear warmer is an easy accessory to carry with you. I love creating crochet patterns and love the excuse to take pictures of my family. This pattern turned out so cute on all my family members. But each member is unique so I provided three different ways to finish off this the crochet ear warmer to meet each person's style. I will show yo how to make a c wide, twisted or cinched crochet ear warmer."

Pebble Hat crochet

"The Pebble Hat uses textured stitches - alternating double crochet and linked double crochet - to create a bumpy fabric that reminds me of pebbles (hence the name!). The Adult Large (23") size is available for free on my blog. I've included video tutorials showing the Pebble Stitch and the joining method used for this hat. I've also linked to a video tutorial for linked double crochet for those new to that stitch. Additional sizes are available for purchase. This design uses worsted weight yarn and a size H crochet hook."

Verna Puff Stitch Hat Pattern

"The Verna Puff Stitch Hat Pattern is part of a matching winter crochet set. Last month I released the Verna Puff Stitch Infinity Scarf and the Verna Puff Stitch Ear Warmer Patterns. Since then I have received numerous requests for a hat pattern. This hat is worked from the bottom, up to the top. We begin working in rows (like the earwarmer pattern) and then we switch to continuous rounds after the puff stitch section."
