Autumn Afghan

"This warm and toasty afghan uses a 1 row repeat and works up quickly. I used Yarn Bee Sugarwheel cakes for my project but any #4 weight yarn will work. This pattern fits a twin sized bed. It is easily adaptable for any size but more yarn will be needed for the larger sizes. What better way to kick off the chilly Fall and Winter weather than with a warm afghan to keep you warm?"

"Blankets are a necessary part of life. So, you might as well have one you like. The little ripple crochet baby blanket is sweet and simple. It would be a great present for a newborn. "Beautiful modern throw with a simple pattern repeat in large stripes which will keep you engaged all the way to the end. The stripes can be made in many different color combinations but the gray and white combo will match almost any home decor. Soft worsted weight yarn gives the blanket body, but the open v-stitch sections make it a lighter weight blankets. Skills to know include half double crochets, double crochets, chains, skipping stitches and working in chain spaces."

Leaping Stripes And Blocks Squared

"The Leaping Stripes and Blocks Squared is my latest twist on this fun stitch pattern! Before, I shared how to make this stitch pattern in rows and in the round. Now, you can add granny or motif style to the list as well! Make a 12” square as shown here or go as big as you like with this free crochet pattern on Moogly! Getting to 12 inches was challenge enough, but I wanted to be sure to create a stitch pattern that could keep on growing to make a full-sized blanket! It took a lot of trial and error, but I did finally find a 4-row repeat that should let you make this blanket large as desired. As long as you end on the same row as I did, you can go right to the border provided. And then add a fancy edging if desired!"

April Interlocking Square

"The April interlocking crochet square features a geometric quilt-like design. You will need two colors of worsted weight yarn (or weight of your choice, though of course different weights will result in different sized squares) and a size H crochet hook (or size appropriate for your yarn). The pattern comes with charts, written instructions, and a full video tutorial. The sample pictured was made with WeCrochet's Wool of the Andes Worsted yarn and measures 9". Another sample made with Paintbox Simply Aran measured 10"."

Shanola Blanket

The Shanola Blanket features some super easy crochet stitches and is such a lovely design especially done in rainbow colors but you can crochet it on any color you prefer. This is a 6 row repeat and is really easy to remember when you get stuck into it. I found this one to be pretty quick to crochet the only two rows that seem to be slow going are rows 5 and 6 and that's just because of the slip stitch but other than that you will whizz through the rows. Perfect for beginners and for the more advanced crocheter.

Chic Shopper Tote

"If you're hoping to make the next step from simple hats and scarf projects then this easy crochet beach tote bag tutorial is a great simple project for beginners. Once you have created your base you can make your bag as deep or shallow as you like, the sturdy stitch means it's perfect for all of your groceries. I love the large tote size as it works just as easily with a laptop and an essential crochet project as it does when it's stuffed full of beach accessories. The best bit is that as it's made from cotton it can be washed easily if your sun cream leaks or you drip your coffee on it - or is that just me?"
