This preemie cardigan is an easy top down pattern. It is worked from the top down in one piece so there is no seams, then you work the arms straight onto the project. There is just enough room in the sleeves to accommodate any tube etc that baby may need in those precious first few hours, days or weeks. This pattern uses sc and hdc with a few hdc around the trim for the button band. A great pattern for a confident beginner to crochet - if you know these stitches you can make this pattern!

It looks great in all colour combinations. For this project you will need Dk weight yarn in two complementary colors, 5.0 mm crochet hook, yarn needle, stitch markers and button.
