Panda Emoji Square

If you're like me and my kiddos, you might use a lot of emojis in your test messages. I was scrolling through the various emoji images a few weeks ago and it occurred to me that the animal faces would make perfect corner to corner (c2c) squares! These square graphs are the perfect size for baby loveys, pillow covers (although I'd recommend going down a hook size to an H/5mm), one square of a larger blanket, one side of a tote bag, or as wall art (just add a dowel rod and hang it up!).

Little Pooch Crochet Purse

This cute Little Pooch Crochet Purse measures at about 7 1/2 inches across, so it's just big enough to fit your essentials. This could be a fun crochet gift for your daughter or niece who just needs something to carry her lip gloss and money. Switch it up and turn this pattern into a matching pillow by closing it up and not adding the strap. What a fun craft for the dog lover in you!

Fox Pillow

Here's a super quick project using Bernat Blanket yarn for the kiddos in your life. What's cuter than a Fox Pillow to snuggle up with or open him up and lie your head on?! I used a 12”x22” pillow form (or you could opt to use Polyfil). For the face, I used a small amount of Polyfil. With the basis of my pattern, you can change up your yarn color and make virtually any animal you would like. My two youngest grandsons really love this fox - only problem is, though, is that they want to ride him like a horse..lol.

Harry Potter Apron

Okay, here's something special and cute for all the Harry Potter fans out there. It's a quick and easy crochet pattern for a Harry Potter Apron - in sizes for Toddler - Adult. I used Red Heart Supersaver yarn. This would be great for Mom to wear in the kitchen while cooking or for a kid to wear as part of a costume for Halloween or for everyday play with dress-up. It uses less than half a skein of yarn of each color. I hope you will enjoy this pattern as much as I did in designing it.

Puff Zip Wallet

Create this gorgeous puff stitch wallet! Very pretty and works up quickly. I really enjoyed making this and I hope you do too! Enjoy the free pattern! Pair with my crossbody bag pattern to make a set! The final wallet measures 6.5″ wide by 5″ tall. The wallet uses a size E and size G hook, 100% cotton yarn and 6 inch zipper. The stitches are worked into the zipper itself (use a awl or large sharp needle to poke the holes) then the pattern is worked down both sides of the wallet then joined together.

Kids Ribbed Hat

For this free crochet pattern i used blohdc stitch, if you are a beginner you are probably wondering what the heck is a blohdc? Well it stands for back loop only half double crochet, so all those hdc’s you have been practicing will come in handy for this pattern. To explain the back loop only bit better is if you do a crochet stitch like a hdc or a dc then you face the top of the stitch like looking bird’s eye view,on top of the stitch you will see two loops a front one which is closest to you and a back one and when you go to work a stitch on top of the stitch you made you will go under the back loop of it which is the one furthest away and it's really that easy!

Star Dishcloth

The star dish cloth is a free pattern that includes a written pattern, chart, and video tutorial. I used WeCrochet's Dishie Worsted cotton yarn in Ash, Pomegranate, and Silver, but any similar worsted cotton yarn will work just fine. The wash cloth/ dish cloth uses intarsia colorwork, though you will have to work over your yarn tails in a few places where the color changes are more than 1 stitch away from the previous color change (which is clearly shown in the video)
