Princess Cape Coat

Don't let your girl be a frozen princess during the holidays, keep her warm with this crochet cape coat pattern. This pattern works up surprisingly fast using mostly double crochet. My daughter is at a wonderful age right now. She has just started to enjoy dressing up. She also loves to make herself pretty by putting on dresses, shawls and jewelry. It is just sad when the little ones have to bundle up on Halloween and you don't get to see too much of their costume. The crochet cape coat can be added to any princess costume.

Parapet Square

Made in three colors of worsted weight yarn, this textured pattern makes a 12” square as written, but once you get the hang of the stitch pattern you can use it for tons of other projects, especially blankets and throws. This would be a great way to use up scraps too - grab your favorite neutral for the main color, then fill in the stripes with your leftovers! Simple stitching, and a terrific introduction to front post stitches.

Striped HDC Dishcloth

Is your hook ready for a new dishcloth pattern with classy striped and tons of texture? This dishcloth is perfect for scrubbing those dishes or counters nice and clean. You'll need to know how to chain and half double crochet and you'll learn a modified half double crochet stitch in the process. The modified hdc adds all the rich texture and looks complicated but is a super easy stitch. You'll want to use it in many other projects as soon as you learn it.

Perfect Day Market Tote

The Perfect Day Market Tote was inspired by all my trips to the local farmer's market this season - the start to a perfect summer day! But you don't have to take it to the market - it's handy wherever you go. And it's a free crochet pattern on Moogly! This is a big, big market bag - but the clever thing about this pattern is that you can actually make it any size! Instructions for this is included. I made the Perfect Day Market Tote in three lovely neutral shades of Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie - it's the perfect yarn for this project! And it comes in tons of colors - so I can't wait to see which ones you choose for your Perfect Bag!

Tunisian Watermelon Bag

The Watermelon Tunisian Bag is worked using Tunisian crochet stitches and an afghan hook. This bag is a great way to practice your Tunisian Crochet stitch work as well as a great way to practice how to change colors in this craft. It's a super cute summertime purse, but it also makes a great play purse for a little girl. I know my daughter took this one over as soon as it was done. It features bright green yarn, coral pink yarn, and little black buttons for seeds.
