Handwritten Cowl

"This cowl design uses 2 different stitches worked in the back loop only to create a nice textured stripe. You will need about 220 yards of a #5 Bulky weight yarn but a weight #4 may also work as well. A US size J/6mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge. The main body of the cowl is worked in rows and then seamed and the border or edging is then worked in the round. "

Woodland Animals Baby Blanket

"As you guys know by now, I love c2c crochet projects! I am especially excited about my latest free crochet baby blanket pattern: my Woodland Animals baby blanket. Each of the 12 crochet animals is a c2c crochet blanket square. Pictured top to bottom and left to right, the animals are: raccoon, hedgehog, opossum, mouse, bear, wolf, skunk, fox, squirrel, deer, owl and bunny. If you're not up to the task of crocheting twelve animal graphs, you could easily turn any of the c2c crochet blanket squares into a crochet pillow. Just follow the instructions from my Fox pattern."

Crochet Rustic Country Blanket

"This crochet rustic country blanket is a great project to work on while you are staying home. I am staying home and glad to have my yarn stash. It is easy to go shopping in your own yarn to pick out a few skeins to make a blanket. If you look closely at the rows of color used in this throw, you will see that some are wider than others. This was the design plan from the beginning. The pattern starts out with 4 rows of bone colored yarn, then 3 rows of light country blue yarn, and the bone color yarn completes the set with 2 rows. In keeping with the color changes at rows 4, 3, and 2. The next color would be 4 rows of light country blue, and so on. As you can see, this lends itself well to a modern country chic blanket."

Group Stitch Baby Blanket

"This crochet baby blanket is considered a beginner friendly pattern. It is crocheted with a lightweight DK weight yarn from Paintbox Yarns. However, any comparable yarn will work for this pattern. This blanket is crocheted entirely with a Group Stitch, otherwise known as a Cluster Stitch. It is worked in simple back and forth rows that are turned after every row. This blanket can be worked all in one color, in a striped pattern or in a color block pattern that you see in the pictures. This baby blanket is simple yet stylish with a gorgeous texture."

Trudie Afghan

"The Trudie Afghan is made for snuggling! Constructed with two tone solid granny squares and triangles, this cozy piece looks bold in any room and puts a modern spin on the traditional granny square afghan. For this project I decided to use Lion Brand Basic Stitch. This premium acrylic yarn is perfect for blankets. It's worsted weight, machine washable (and dryable!) and available in 18 colors. Each skein is 219 yards. For the Trudie Afghan you will need 10 balls of you main color and 5 of your contrast color. I used Cream as the main and Tourmaline for my contrast."
