Summer Garden Flower Baby Blanket

"The Summer Garden Flower Blanket is not an easy pattern, but the result is spectacular. A field of flowers in 3 different shades of pink surrounded by a border of green leaves. The blanket is made out of simple flower hexagons sewed together with the invisible seam technique. The blanket edging is made with the leaf stitch border. To avoid having too many ends to weave in, crochet over the magic ring end tail. Sew the hexagons in strips then sew the strips to each other."

Ruffle Baby Blanket Free Crochet Pattern

Today's free crochet pattern is this adorable ruffle baby blanket, oh my goodness this is the cutest thing ever and it is so easy to do! I have to be honest though those ruffles took a little longer than what i expected BUT it is still very quick to do.. I am clearly just impatient haha! The ruffle baby blanket is done by crocheting the base of the blanket which is just made up of double crochet stitches and then adding the ruffles which is super simple! All you need to know is how to work in the back loop of stitches on row 5 as when you do this you leave the front loop exposed and this is where you join your yarn to make the ruffle.

Hudson Baby Blanket

"If you get tired or frustrated with creating a blanket in rows and turning the whole things around, you're going to love this pattern. The Hudson blanket is just a bunch of different hexagons in different colors and they're each made separately. It's much faster and easier to whip up a stack of smaller shapes than to work on a large blanket. Once all the hexies were made, all I had to do was seam them all together. That step does take a bit longer, but it's an easy task to do and goes by quickly."

Striped Baby Blanket

"Crochet a modern striped baby blanket using two strands of worsted weight yarn. This free crochet blanket pattern is perfect for beginners because it uses only double crochet stitches. The striped blanket works up quickly and is a little bit squishy, thanks to the double strands of yarn. I used a 10 mm crochet hook and about 720 yards each of Lion Brand Pound of Love "Denim" and "Oxford Grey." You could add tassels or a border to personalize the blanket. "

Margot Baby Blanket Free Crochet Pattern

"With the Margot Baby Blanket i found a crochet stitch which is actually a filet crochet stitch pattern and then i integrated a border seamlessly so you just crochet the border on both sides of the blanket as you are crocheting along which automatically gives it a finish look, how easy is that! On the top and bottom of the blanket i didn’t put any border on as i actually quite liked it already and felt it didn’t need a border but you can add a border if you wish. This crochet blanket pattern is suitable for a beginner."

Big Block Baby Blanket

"This small baby blanket is a new twist on the basketweave stitch except it is done in groups of 10 so that it looks like blocks. After the second row, you really don't need to do much counting as you will just keep doing the stitches in groups of 10s. You must know how to work around the post as the stitches used are front post double crochet or back post double crochet and regular double crochet. You will enjoy making this blanket in a variegated yarn or a plain color."
