Easy Mesh Grocery Bag Holder

This simple mesh bag holds your supply of plastic grocery bags for storage. Put them to good use before they go into a landfill! You'll use just a tiny bit of yarn, much less than a full skein of kitchen cotton, and a comfy I/9 5.5mm crochet hook. There are instructions for a nail hook at the top, and an optional button loop at the bottom if you wish to close it. These quick and easy projects make great gifts for housewarming, or even quick craft fair projects, as they really work up in a flash. Free PDF download available on my blog.

Weekend Bucket Bag

The Weekend Bucket Bag was inspired by Lion Brand’s Jeans yarn - check out that front pocket! It's just the right size for most phones, and we all need a big pocket for those these days! The base of the bag is reinforced with plastic canvas, which is a great item to use for crochet projects like this - you can cut it to any size, it's inexpensive, and it's washable! Here, it helps the Weekend Bucket Bag hold its shape, and makes the bottom of the bag that much stronger - so you can fill it up and head out for a weekend of fun! Cross Stitch Make-Up Bag / Pouch

I've been wanting to try cross stitching on crocheted fabric for a while now. I also thought that maybe you did too so I designed a small project for us to try it out on, a cross stitch make-up bag. This small zippered pouch is perfect for many different uses, but I plan to use it as my new make-up bag. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for adding a zipper to your crochet projects and for the cross stitching.

Moroccan Plastic Grocery Bag Holder

It's that time of year again! The snow is melting (albeit more slowly than I’d like), the birds are starting to sing again, and the days are getting longer. All of these signs also mean that it's time for spring cleaning! Time to clean up and organize the clutter that's accumulated during the long winter months. There's one particular space that I'm constantly having to de-clutter… the pantry. More specifically, the mountains of plastic grocery bags that seem to multiply on their own. The Moroccan Grocery Bag Holder is the perfect crochet solution!

Hazel's Market Bag

Hazel’s Market Bag came to me because I was in need of a simple bag that would carry a lot of stuff, but that wouldn't just be a gigantic bag if it were mostly empty. This bag sort of stretches to carry what is needed, but then springs back when not weighed down. I love it and I have many of them around the house. We use them for the farmer’s market buys, library books, and as church bags. I've made many for gifts, and sold even more.Hazel's Market Bag

Beach Wave Tote Bag

Create this gorgeous puff tote bag! This bag works up quickly and uses 7, 2.5 oz of 100% cotton yarn. I used Lily Sugar’n Cream yarn in 7 colors. Each skein will be enough to complete each color sequence on both sides with a little bit left over. You will crochet directly into the zipper for this project (this part is super easy!). Just poke into the zipper with an awl or sharp thicker needle and insert your crochet hook in the hole and crochet as usual. You will work both sides then sc pieces together with an outter seam. The finished bag measures 21″ wide and 14″ tall. You can add a lining if you plan on using the bag for smaller items, for larger items the bag will be fine as is. Enjoy the free pattern!

Fox Drawstring Bag

With school quickly approaching, I thought I'd make a Fox Drawstring Bag to go with the Pencil Case I made. I used Bernat Softee Chunky yarn and a 10mm hook. This pattern design used basic stitches of single crochet and half double crochet - so it's perfect for the beginner to tackle and make, as well as, a super cute project for the advanced crocheter to make. Change up the colors and it easily converts to a wolf bag. Fun, cute, easy and quick - perfect combo for the perfect bag for kids and adults!!!Fox Drawstring Bag

Sinum Bag

The crochet Sinum Bag works up quickly, requires 2 colors of cotton yarn and is skill level easy. Stitch it up quickly before or during your summer vacation and bring everything around during summertime. This bag is perfect to use all year through, but especially during summer. Fill it with everything you need when you go to the beach, or use it for your crochet project. It's also the perfect grocery or market bag and you can fit a lot in it.
