Darling Dahlia Shawl
Darling Dahlia Shawl
Dahlia Sun Hat
For the Dahlia Shawl / Scarf, I've combined several simple crochet stitches that add both a nice texture and drape. The size is easily customizable so you can crochet it and wear it as a shawl or triangular scarf. For this triangular crochet shawl, I chose Lion Brand Yarns Turnstyles, a self-striping, bulky mohair-look yarn, and all of the colorwork was done for me which made this a perfect crochet project for binge watching my favorite TV shows.
The inspiration for this square was the beautiful repeating petals of the Dahlia flower. This square may be used by itself or in conjunction with other squares or stitches to make throws, bags, table runners, pillows and more. It is worked in worsted weight yarn and is a generous 12" so that projects work up quickly. The center and flower portion are based on the popular African flower look and then it is surrounded with lacy stitching for interest!
Are you looking for a crochet project that also involves embellishments? If yes, these Dahlia flowers are the perfect option for DIY. You can use these Dahlia patterns for your shirt and hairband floral embellishment. Not only for accessories, but you can also use these crochet flowers for decoration in the kitchen and on decor pieces. So, create these multi-purpose flowers using a 2.75mm crochet hook.
Next, the Woodland colour pack from Stylecraft can be an inspiration for the creation similar color set. While the color pack allows one to introduce plenty of colors into the blanket, nevertheless the final effect is still elegant and toned.
To begin with, these fresh color combos are the closest to the archetype of the pattern based on the natural colors of growing dahlias. Without a doubt, this color combo will be perfect for children or anyone else, who likes vivid hues to reminisce about the summer and feels more energetic amongst a reddish palette.

"This Dahlia crochet pattern is a beautiful flower embellishment project. This Dahlia applique will look great on a hat or headband. You can also use it to decorate bags, blankets, or general home decorations. The Dahlia flowers come in variety of colors, sizes, heights, and shapes. For my crochet Dahlia designs I've chosen flowers with flatter shapes as I wanted them to be used as appliques. They have what is known as a collarette bloom style - this is when flowers have a small collar of short inner petals. "
This design looks like a print, right? In reality, it's just crochet and beginner friendly. How amazing is that? It's a soft pillow, that will look great in any color combination you want! I have to try this one, I hope you'll too!
