Star Stitch Fingerless Gloves

These fingerless gloves were made working on star stitch and it took me about two hours to finish it. I offer a video tutorial in spanish with english subtitles in which I use a medium weight yarn and a 5.5. mm hook. I also offer a written pattern in spanish and in english, in which I use a light to medium weight yarn and a 5.0 mm hook. Both with clear instructions and beginner friendly. I also show how to avoid a gap between first and last star stitch of each round.

Stella Fingerless Gloves

The Stella Fingerless Gloves use DK weight yarn and feature the lovely star stitch. The women's small size is available as a free pattern on my blog (medium and large are available as well, for purchase). For my sample, I used super soft Herriot by Juniper Moon Farm, a 100% baby alpaca dk-weight yarn. You could use any DK yarn you'd like! These gloves also have a coordinating hat and scarf, in case you are interested in making a matching set!

Simple Ribbed Fingerless Gloves

Beautiful fingerless gloves that are easy to make! They are worked in the round in one piece with no seams. These are made with bulky weight yarn, so they not only work up quickly, but are very warm. This pattern includes both a teen and adult size. I have included both written directions and a video tutorial. These fingerless gloves are great gifts for teachers and daycare providers who might need to tie shoes or wipe noses when they are outside with the kids. I also make them for the teenage teaching assistants in my dance classes.

Homemade Crochet Fingerless Gloves

These wrist warmers are made as a single rectangle, slip stitched together, leaving a hole for the thumb. Made in mostly one piece, with another strand used for the second ruffle.
To adjust size, crochet more rows until glove wraps around wrist/forearm comfortably. If finished size is too big, remove rows until it wraps around comfortably.
