Ansh Tunisian Sampler Blanket

This blanket was designed primarily for teaching the basics of Tunisian crochet. The squares are in order of complexity and start with Beginner level stitches leading into Advanced Beginner techniques towards the end. The aim is for people of any skill level to join and (hopefully) learn something new and have a finished product to showcase at the end! The sizes of the squares might vary a little and that is okay. The joining technique used to join the squares will mask the difference.

"Night sky can appear in so many ways depending on the time, season, weather and this ever-changing scenery was an inspiration behind this design. The pattern is written for toddler/ small child size of blanket; however the design can be modified easily by adding or reducing star or moon sections vertically or horizontally to make the final blanket larger or smaller according to your specific need. Sky Walk Tunisian Chevron Shawl

"The shawl is a great accessory for chilly mornings and late evenings when you only need a little something over your shoulders. In the spirit of the theme of the colour of the year, this colour combination is reminiscent of the many shades of blue of late evening and night sky. This pattern was featured in Happily Hooked Magazine July 2020. The shawl is worked flat with RS always facing; the pattern consists of alternating three colour sections: 6 rows in MC, 3 rows in CC1, 6 rows in MC and 3 rows in CC2. Tunisian Cross Stitch Afghan Block

"I simply love when you can use a simple crochet stitch and put a twist on it. This creates a beautiful new stitch that looks so much different by just changing a small thing. That is exactly what the Tunisian crochet cross stitch is. Simply put, you work two Tunisian simple stitches but crossed over. It is a super simple technique suitable for beginners. I have used this beautifully textured stitch for a simple afghan block. It would look lovely as part of a Tunisian stitch sampler blanket or cushion cover. You can also make this square with a 100% cotton yarn and use it as a washcloth or a facecloth."

Luxury Plaid Tunisian Poncho

"The poncho is made with the entrelac technique and is really easy to make. I have photo and video tutorials to follow along that cover all the basics of making this poncho along with some tips - including how you can carry yarn for the diagonals that have blocks of alternating colors so you won't have a million ends to weave in! In the end, I added a faux fur trim to give it a luxurious feel and look."
