Celtic Winters Cowl

The celtic weave stitch is so beautiful I can hardly stand it, and once you get started its actually a pretty simple repeat! And my favorite part about it with this project is that it really shows off my favorite qualities of the Scarfie yarn. The gradient of colors shows off the texture of the stitches, and the stitches themselves are as light and fluffy as clouds! This pattern will show you how to make a beautiful cowl using just one skein of Scarfie yarn.

Crax Gradient Shawl

The Crax Gradient Shawl will allow you to create a large crochet shawl with fascinating mosaic crochet design using your favourite gradient yarn. Crax Gradient Shawl is a generously sized shawl worked sideways on the bias, from one tip to the opposite edge. The compination of asymmetric triangle shaping and mosaic colorwork using a gradient yarn makes this pattern a great project for those of you looking to expand your crochet skills. Although the pattern is written in one size, it could be easily made larger or smaller by adding or omitting pattern repeats. The shifting colors keep the work interesting. Team up your favourite gradient yarn (self-striping yarn) with a contrasting solid and create this intriguing Crax Gradient Shawl. The pattern uses US crochet terminology and includes step-by-step mosaic crochet tutorial.Crax Gradient Shawl

Scarfie Bandana Cowl Free Crochet Pattern

When I began designing the Scarfie Bandana Cowl, I only had intentions on making it in adult sizes until I received a request for child sizes as well. She said she really wanted to make a mommy and me set so that’s when I decided to add in the toddler and child sizes. I had been dying to use one of Lion Brand Scarfie’s latest colorways, Mint/Silver, ever since it came out so I grabbed the yarn, grabbed my hook and off I went to swatch. As I was swatching I fell more and more in love with this self-striping yarn and knew it was the perfect yarn to bring my vision to life. If you haven’t crocheted with Lion Brand Scarfie yet, you really should go pick up a ball today!Scarfie Bandana Cowl Free Crochet Pattern

Winding Ridges Cowl Free Crochet Pattern

"You'll love the drape, look and feel of this cozy crochet cowl. This pattern uses only 1 stitch but where the stitch is placed is what creates a nice winding ridges textured look. This cowl can be made using just 1 skein of Lion Brand Scarfie or 1 skein of Loops & Threads Barcelona. This is a perfect cowl for the colder months. You can substitute another bulky weight yarn but keep in mind using a different yarn can affect drape. "Winding Ridges Cowl Free Crochet Pattern
