World Traveler Scarf

The World Traveler Scarf is a simple crochet piece using only single crochet and chain. It is worked in the woven stitch which gives it a truly woven look and feel. The fringe is worked during the crochet process, so it matches the stripes perfectly, adding to the woven look. The bright colors of this scarf are reminiscent of the type of item you might find at an international bazaar. This scarf is crocheted from a single skein of Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball in the color Restful Rainbow. It works up pretty quick, making it a great last minute addition to your fall wardrobe, or a great gift. There are also absolutely no ends to weave in! The beginning and ending tail become part of the fringe.

Any Season Shawl

This Any Season Shawl is an easy asymmetrical crochet shawlette made from just one skein of yarn. If you are looking for a shawl in a ball pattern, here is one to add to your crochet pattern library. Today I used one skein of Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball Restful Rainbow. This pattern starts off with an initial 12 rows of crochet. After that, rows 9-12 are repeated until the desired length and width is reached or the skein of yarn is gone. This is an asymmetrical shawl; therefore, the increase is only done on one side of the shawl. Couple the beautiful skein of yarn with an easy crochet pattern. The rainbow of colors in this shawl make it the perfect accessory for any number of fashion styles. It is great worn with weekend wear, going out to dinner with family and friends, and work.

Leilani Crochet Shawl

"I absolutely love fringe. This particularly flower fringe is worked simultaneously with the rows of the shawl for a seamless finish. Especially with color work and stripes, making the fringe within the rows of the pattern allows you to easily match up the colors of the fringe with the stripes, too. This would be a great stash buster if you changed the color after every row; it would be beautiful in a single color, or you could change color every 2 rows like the sample shown. This shawl features 1 ball each of 4 colors of Be So Baby Yarn: orchid, princess, aquamarine and peacock teal."Leilani Crochet Shawl

Crochet Mermaid Tail Scarf

The highly textured crocodile crochet stitch is a popular choice for mermaid tail patterns because it looks just like scales. It is used in this crochet scarf pattern, where it creates a very warm accessory that is finished off with more basic stitches to create the tail design. The scarf is designed for an average size of approximately 7" x 56" but includes instructions for making it shorter or longer to suit the size desired.Crochet Mermaid Tail Scarf

Sanguine Scarf Pattern

The Sanguine Scarf is a lovely lightweight scarf crocheted with Lion Brand Mandala Yarn. The stitch pattern is lacy and eye catching. The finished size is 49 inches long and 9 inches wide as written but if you would like a longer scarf to wrap around your neck multiple times you can simply continue on with the pattern instructions until you run out of yarn :) This scarf is crocheted in one-piece with the edging row designed right into the beginning of the pattern. This way you can match up your colors and continue the scarf smoothly and with only the beginning and ending yarn end needing to be sewn in. I love this stitch pattern and this easy scarf pattern. This scarf will make a great gift!
