Lady Edith's Butterfly Scarf

This light and lacy butterfly scarf inspired by Lady Edith, of Downton Abbey, and how marvelous she looks in Green. I always felt she was the beauty of the 3 girls. She was always overlooked, and under-appreciated. She is Elegant, yet simple. Quiet, yet Strong.

Oceanside Triangle Scarf: Easy Crochet Pattern

This triangle scarf is easily worked with simple stitches, and quickly creates a classic looking accessory to wear! This pattern is worked in rows using chains and double crochet stitches. You can easily customize the size of the scarf by adding or omitting rows, and the simple pattern repeat makes this design fun and easy to work up ! An interesting difference in this scarf pattern are the button and loop added to the corner ends of the last row worked - the button attaches to the loop, which helps to keep the scarf around your neck! It's a great pattern because: Scarves are quick and fun projects to work up! Have fun with yarn color to make this simple fabric your own style; color blocking, stripes, ombre, variegated and more! This project works great with cotton yarns, and plant-based fibers! You'll get to practice a lot of crochet skills: increasing in rows, stitch tension, gauge and size, blocking, finishing techniques and more!

Crochet Triangle Scarf

This triangle scarf is an easy, beginner friendly crochet pattern. I was itching to use Hobby Lobby's Painted Canyon colorway and I think it worked up lovely in this pattern. The self striping yarns are such a breeze to work with-no color planning, less ends to weave = win, win! This pattern will give you the triangle scarf size pictured: 23.5″ deep by 50″ long. You can continue the pattern to increase your triangle to a full shawl size. This one was made with 3 skeins of Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn in Painted Canyon. I think adding another two skeins (with this gauge and hook) would create a comfortable sized shawl. These are so easy to add on to!"

Lady Sybil's Lace Cape Shawl

This is my third crochet pattern inspired by the television series Downton Abbey. I have named each design after each of the ladies on the series. This design reminds me of Lady Sybil, as she was so sweet, kind, and thoughtful of others. The pattern is really quite simple and yet classy as well. It is stitched with a large crochet hook to give it the open, lacy effect.
