Do you remember when the headline on September 12th, 2001 in the Le Monde read We Are All Americans? I do. Do you remember the Parisians singing The Star Spangled Banner at Notre Dame? I do. Star Stitch Fingerless Gloves

Gloves and Mittens

These fingerless gloves were made working on star stitch and it took me about two hours to finish it. I offer a video tutorial in spanish with english subtitles in which I use a medium weight yarn and a 5.5. mm hook. I also offer a written pattern in spanish and in english, in which I use a light to medium weight yarn and a 5.0 mm hook. Both with clear instructions and beginner friendly. I also show how to avoid a gap between first and last star stitch of each round.

Of course, Dragon Scale Fingerless Mitts are always season, and are loved not only by the fans of fantasy. While they make use of the unusual crocodile stitch, they aren’t hard. Moreover, this technique may come in handy in other projects, so it's good to learn and practice it.

Cabled Fingerless Gloves

I designed these gloves in 2016 to be part of The Pattern Pack Pro Magazine, Issue 28, which featured mine and five other fingerless gloves crochet patterns. Near the time I designed these, I had recently mastered crocheting cables, and oohh they are so fun! And I think they produced a really beautiful, elegant pair of fingerless gloves, especially paired with the ribbing on top and bottom. 3 Lengths available, and gloves are made to fit child/adult small. Go up a hook size to make larger gloves.
