These fingerless gloves with cute "cable knit" design will make a comfy addition to your fall accessories collection. Worked in one piece from bottom up. Alternating work in back and front loops creates striped pattern on cuff. Forming and weaving loops on glove creates a “cable knit” looking design. Loop and button on open ended cuff add visual interest to the design. This design should fit an average sized hand apx. 7 1/2” across knuckles when crocheted somewhat loosely.

Cabled Fingerless Gloves
I designed these gloves in 2016 to be part of The Pattern Pack Pro Magazine, Issue 28, which featured mine and five other fingerless gloves crochet patterns. Near the time I designed these, I had recently mastered crocheting cables, and oohh they are so fun! And I think they produced a really beautiful, elegant pair of fingerless gloves, especially paired with the ribbing on top and bottom. 3 Lengths available, and gloves are made to fit child/adult small. Go up a hook size to make larger gloves.
Easy Evil Eye Glove
I loved being a part of Krista Suh’s Pussy Hay Project and got very excited when she announced her Sea of Eyes project for the March for Our Lives on 3/24/18. The project consists of making fingerless gloves with an evil eye on the palm. To learn more about Krista’s project check out the website: http://kristasuh.com/evil-eye-glove/ Most of the patterns currently available on Ravelry are worked in the round at some point. This has a tendency to make the glove less stretchy width wise and can cause tightness at the wrist. I have designed my pattern to be worked as a rectangle in ribbed single crochet. This allows the gloves to stretch easily and accommodate different hand sizes, which make it perfect for donating. Also it is less intimidating for beginners as it is a rectangle that is just folded in half. This pattern is designed to fit an adults hand and is written for two different lengths (short is 7″ and long is 8.5″). The width is 4″, folded in half laying flat. However you can easily adjust your stitch and row count to accommodate your gauge and different had sizes.

Basic Fingerless Gloves
"Size The Crochet Basic Fingerless Gloves measure 6.89” (17.5 cm) in length and 4” (10 cm) in the largest point. Construction To crochet the cuff, we will use single crochet stitches worked either in the back or front loops only. Once the cuff reaches the desired length, we will close it as a tube and start working the body of the glove (the hand) in successive rounds. Each round is closed at the end with a slip stitch."
