Microwaveable crochet bowl cozies had their moment in 2018 and I thought they were a brilliant idea. After searching for the perfect free pattern for a bowl cover that would fit my Corelle dinnerware I finally decided to just design my own. This simple bowl cozy pattern is easy enough for a beginner and will fit any standard size Corelle brand bowl. Materials One small 2.5 oz ball of cotton yarn (I used Peaches and Cream in Rosemary) 4.25 mm G hook Scissors Needle for weaving in ends Stitches used: magic circle half double crochet single crochet (front loop only)
Finally! The most requested pattern is finally available! This is the large cotton bowl cozy that fits bowls on average 7.5 inches. The original cotton bowl cozy is smaller and fits bowls around 5.5 inches. Use a self striping cotton yarn to create a lovely design and look to your cotton bowl cozy when you use the beautiful stitch used. This will make a wonderful gift to give anyone who loves cotton bowl cozies. A full Video tutorial is included also!
