Child Size Blanket Cardigans

Kids and Babies

Child Size Blanket Cardigans

This is the free child's size version of my popular adult Blanket Cardigan Pattern. I offer this child size pattern series in a 18 month - 14/16. This one is the 18 month, but it includes links to all other sizes. I did decide to omit the fringe on the smallest sizes. Little hands, little fingers, lots of playing, maybe a little dirt, and you just don't know how well all that would mix together. We also decided to omit the buttonholes that are included in the larger sizes because of body proportion variation from child to child. Enjoy!

Ragged Falls Poncho

Kids and Babies

This time of year is tough in Northern Ontario. The mornings are below freezing, but the afternoons warm up nicely, although there is still a definite chill to the wind. Perfect poncho weather! You can slip it easily over your head, they are cinch to layer over clothing, and everyone loves the way they fan out when you twirl. Who can argue with that?! Please note that all my patterns are written in standard American terms.

Sunday Sweater Child Sizes

Kids and Babies

"The Sunday Sweater Child Size pattern was written for sizes 2-10. This design uses bulky weight yarn, which not only works up incredibly fast, but is super warm and squishy too! Although the photos show a comfy turtleneck style cowl, the pattern itself also includes instructions for a simple rib-look collar, or a rolled collar as well. Best of all? The Sunday Sweater was also written in Ladies sizes xs-5x! Perfect for Mommy and Me outfits. Enjoy! "

"The Marielle Lace Tee child size crochet pattern combines the fun and easy stitch pattern of the Marielle Lace Shawl, Marielle Lace Slouch, and Addy Lace Caridgan crochet patterns, along with the simplicty of two rectangle construction! Summer is in full swing and temperatures are soaring! I don't know about you, but easy and breezy are the two adjectives that describe my family’s wardrobe right now. This lacy design really does fit the bill when it comes to hot weather fashion."
