At a garage sale, I scored a crocheted piece that I perceived to be a rectangle shawl, but could have been a table runner. It was comprised of two large granny squares seamed together with a single crochet join. While I was not crazy about the colors and there was some paint that got on it at some point, I was in love with the idea, and took it home as inspiration for this shawl.

It is a rectangle shaped crochet shawl that is beautifully large so you can wrap it around. It measures 165 x 65 cm. I used fingering weight yarn and 4 mm crochet hook so it works up fairly quick. "
