Inspiration & Design
Being the person that I am, I constantly find myself working on 4+sweaters, blankets, scarves, time-consuming projects. I tend to find that I am able to keep my motivation up when I work on quicker projects, they make me feel like I accomplished something and really help to keep my focus. If you're anything like me then you will LOVE the Puff Stitch Coffee Cup Cozy crochet pattern I will be sharing with you all today.
The Puff Stitch is by far one of the most popular crochet stitches I've seen. People love the look, texture, and how simple the stitch is once you learn how to work it. I realized I was yet to see a Puff Stitch Coffee Cup Cozy, so BAM! Here we are. I've already made 6 of these babies and I'm not stopping yet. I will be making one for all of the girls in our family this Christmas. I love to show people that I care and want to give everyone a handmade item, but let's be honest with ourselves. I can't spend too much time on making everyone something magnificent and unique. In comes the Puff Stitch Coffee Cup Cozy!
Template
I went ahead and designed a printable template to go along with this Coffee Cup Cozy. Who doesn't love showcasing your new Coffee Cozy in such a cute way!?
Yarn
The yarn used for this pattern is nonother than my ABSOLUTE favorite 100% cotton yarn - Hobby Lobby's I Love This Cotton! I never use any other brand of cotton yarn for one simple reason; This brand is by far the softest I have come across. Cotton has the tendency to feel slightly rough, not this one!

Hot Pad and Dish Scrubby With Printable Gift Tag
This is a traditional hot pad, honestly, the best ones I have ever used. This is not my design, but a common way to crochet hot pads that my Great Grandmother taught me and I want to share it with you. These are my most requested crochet items from my family! I love to gift them for any occassion, but I like to add a dish scrubby because we always need more. I wanted to help you enjoy making these as gifts this year as well so I created a cute printable gift tag you are welcome to use!
Simple Shells Washcloth: Quick and Easy Textured Stitch Pattern
The Simple Shells Washcloth is made with alternating rows of solid stitches and groups of shells, creating a pretty surface for scrubbing anything you need in the bath and kitchen! This washcloth is worked in rows using chains and double crochet stitches. You can easily customize the stitch repeat in multiples of 5+2 (+2 for the turning chain), then work any odd multiple of rows. While you don't see the term shell in the specialty stitch and technique section of this pattern, the group of five double crochet stitches worked into one place is a shell. Either way of writing the instruction is correct, and we hope beginners enjoy the simplicity in this version (the stitch chart should help, too). THIS IS A GREAT PATTERN BECAUSE: Washcloths are fun projects to learn new crochet stitches (especially when you follow our crochet chart with the written instructions)! You can use these in the bath or kitchen (plus, they make great gifts)! This project works great with cotton yarns (just one skein or less)! You'll get to practice a lot of crochet skills: rows, stitch tension, stitch counting and recognition, shells (5 double crochet stitches into 1 space) , borders, gauge and size, finishing techniques and more!
Beginner Granny Square Christmas Doily
This beginner granny square Christmas doily uses just one skein of yarn. Pair the easy crochet stitches used in a granny square with these pretty Holiday colors for a quick crochet project. Christmas is almost here and it's time to start thinking about what you're going to be giving your friends and family. One of the best gifts that I've found that people often don't think of, but really appreciate, are handmade items. A granny square is a popular crochet pattern that has been around for decades. It's used to create everything from afghans, clothing, and home decor items. This easy crochet project took me about 15 hours to make. So, if you have a few hours each day for a week, you can have this beauty done too.
