Heart Pixel Art Square
Though a little time consuming, pixel art projects are so fun! I think I like most that it kind of resembles a quilt, but also that it uses my favorite join-as-you method - the Pull Loop Through Method! Makes for an easy join, and no worrying about how to assemble later - can't say I enjoy sewing squares together. BUT! If you do, you could always make the squares separately, and then use the mattress stitch (or your preferred technique) to join them later. WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THIS SQUARE? It's the perfect size for a 16 throw pillow, use it as an afghan square, and build a blanket, add more squares all around to make a larger blanket, use it as a doily, attach it to a dowel rod, and hang it, use it as the star of the show for a sweater/top, even changing up the weight of yarn used will open doors!
Year Of The Tiger Granny Square
Hello everyone! Wow, how time flies by! 2022 is here, and January is almost over. So it must be time to add a new granny square to my collection. It's the year of the tiger this time around, and let me tell you, it was a real challenge for me to make this one. I spent so many days researching both real, and crocheted tigers trying to come up with a good design. What I found more intriguing and charming was the white tiger rather than the orange one; they are quite majestic looking, their cubs are super cute, and to be honest with you, their color scheme can be interpreted somehow easier than the more known orange tigers. I hope I've caught your interest with this year's zodiac granny square of mine. Wish you all happy and warm days!
Lavender Fields Crochet Blanket Square
This crochet pattern creates a beautifully textured 12” crochet blanket square. Use shades of the same colour to create an ombre look, like in the sample picture or mix and match other colours to create a whole new look. Makers need to be familiar with basic crochet techniques like single crochet, half double crochet, double, treble and double treble stitches as well as increases and posts stitches in order to have success following this pattern, however, tutorial supports for these techniques are available on the blog.
