Paintbox Baby Blanket
This is a fun and easy pattern to make. The yarn and colours that I used are mentioned in the blog post. I made this blanket with a crochet hook size 4mm but you can use any size you like. It will change the size of your blanket however, but it is very easy to adjust the pattern and to make the blanket in any size you like. Please note that the English pattern is below the Dutch pattern in the blog post.
Tulip Stitch Afghan Square
This lovely Tulip Stitch Afghan Square is available as a free crochet pattern in 5 different sizes. A photo tutorial is also available to show you how to crochet this stitch pattern. This version of the Tulip Stitch pattern is worked in double crochet stitches, rather than single crochet stitches. The pattern works up quickly and creates a pretty finished square. This will also work for blankets and other items. If you'd like to make a pretty and feminine hat with this stitch, I have also created a free pattern in 11 sizes using the Tulip Stitch.
