Secret Pathways Triangle Poncho

This secret pathways triangle poncho was so fun to make. I decided to try my hand at a poncho and since this is my first one, it had to be easy. The little clusters of double crochet remind me of the granny stitch. The Secret Pathways Triangle Poncho is an easy crochet pattern that all crochet skill levels can make.My daughter has been asking me to make her a poncho. We have been searching for just the right one for quite some time. Some of them that looked really pretty; however, they seem a bit too complicated for my first poncho. Therefore, I settled for making something I had a little experience in making. This triangle poncho uses a pattern recently designed as a triangle shawl. Would you also like to start with a triangle shawl first? Then this crochet pattern is perfect for you. The variegated yarn creates a beautiful poncho color palette too.

Bella Poncho Free Crochet Pattern

"The Bella Poncho is an oversized poncho and is made with a larger hook and uses open lacy shell stitches with only a two row repeat. This is such an elegant looking poncho and the stitch pattern is so easy to memorize that it can be made up in no time at all. I wanted the Bella Poncho to feel lighter and more of a drapey look than a heavy fabric so this is why a size 8mm crochet hook was used with an aran yarn. An oversized poncho is a perfect piece to add for the colder months as you can just throw it on over a sweater or a long sleeved top and it will look great on but it is also great for the cooler summer evenings."

Penny Poncho Crochet Pattern

"This square poncho crochet pattern features an easy v-stitch with four increases giving the Penny Poncho a playful handkerchief hem. With a 3 round repeat, this square poncho is easy to make and is a great project to take with you in waiting rooms, pick-up lines, road trips, and crochet and knit groups! Use your scraps of yarn to make magic yarn and turn them into fashion. I made mine with nearly a dozen colors of Lion Brand Heartland yarn that I had in my stash. I love finding ways to use partial skeins of yarn, and the more you use, the more fun the Penny Poncho becomes."

Neapolitan Scratch N Sniff

The Neapolitan Scratch N Sniff poncho is a lovely, comfy crochet poncho that will make you feel beautiful and cozy. I made this poncho at my local knit and crochet group, and several of the wonderful ladies there modeled the finished poncho for me. Every one of them commented on how soft it was, the Red Heart Hygge yarn is just wonderful. My friend Rachel (one of my stunning models) named this poncho because it looks like a scratch n sniff sticker for Neapolitan ice cream. I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as my friends and I do!
