Dandelion Tunic Dress
This simple tunic pattern was designed with speed and ease in mind. Somehow, even amid the usual chaos of life with a toddler, it practically flew off my hook. That's why I named it the Dandelion Tunic- it seemed as if it popped up almost overnight! Considering how incredibly fast little ones grow at this age, that's very important. I purposefully simplified the ribbing by using only front post stitches. I added a row of pretty little eyelets as well, to give the dress a hint of lightness. The improvised eyelets up top do double duty- they add a bit of breezy elegance, and help shape the yoke without using slower, bulkier decrease stitches. This dress will use just half a skein of Caron One Pound Yarn in the 4T size.

For this alphabet baby romper you will need Dk weight yarn in four fun colours, 5.0 mm crochet hook and stitch markers. I hope you enjoy making the pattern. Happy crocheting! "
Crochet Mermaid Tail for Babies and Children
An adorable crochet mermaid tail is the perfect choice for a baby's first costume or summer photos. As they get a little older, young children also enjoy playing dress-up with this type of outfit. This crochet pattern covers all of those bases, because it is available in eight sizes from newborn through approximately age 5.
There are two styles to the pattern. Most of them have a bikini top that matches the mermaid tail, which is fairly classic for this type of design. However, the smallest sizes comes as a one-piece with the faux bikini top attached, because this slips more easily over a fussy newborn to quickly take photos. It's a practical twist made by a smart designer.
The bikini tops for this pattern have a cute floral design. As a bonus, there is a matching floral crochet headband pattern for all ages.
