Easy Chunky Cocoon

This free crochet baby cocoon pattern works up really quickly because it is made with super bulky yarn. This yarn choice also makes the cocoon super cozy for baby, particularly on colder days. Select your yarn colors to suit the baby's gender or just the family's preferences.

Ragged Falls Cocoon Shrug - Child Sizes

Kids and Babies

The Ragged Falls Cocoon Shrug Pattern combines the fun and easy stitch pattern of the Ragged Falls Poncho and Scarf patterns, along with the simplicty of cocoon shrug construction! I am hopeful that Spring will be here before we know it and this kind of layering piece will become a wardrobe staple. It's long shot up here in Northern Ontario, but a girl can hope, right? Layered over long sleeves in colder temps, or to keep shoulders warm when worn over a tank, the Ragged Falls Cocoon Shrug is exactly what your little girl needs!

Gender Neutral Gingham Baby Blanket

Kids and Babies

"Looking for a gender neutral baby blanket to gift to expecting parents? Look no further. This crochet pattern for a gingham baby blanket will be the perfect gift for any parents who are keeping their baby's gender hush-hush. You will need to know how to chain, single crochet, and slip stitch. This baby blanket with my tension ended up approximately 37 inches x 33 inches. My swatch of 10 stitches x 10 rows is approximately 2.5 inches x 2.5 inches. My baby blanket is 15 blocks wide and 13 blocks tall (block = 10 st x 10 rows), you can alter this as you see fit to make a larger or smaller blanket. I prefer to end each row and column on an odd number so that all corners end in white, for example. All pictures and patterns are copyright of The Loophole Fox unless otherwise noted. Please do not repost or claim my content as your own. Please do not copy, redistribute or sell my pattern in any way. You're more than welcome to sell your finished products off of my patterns but please link my pattern/credit me so that others can find me. Thank you!"

Snuggle Cuddle Cocoon

Snuggle Cuddle Cocoon

This precious baby cocoon crochet pattern is designed for newborns, but the original size was created for stillborn premature babies so that they could be buried in something special. This is another use of the baby cocoon that many people don't think of, but that can be helpful to the hearts of grieving parents. The unique construction of this pattern shows a buttoned alternative to many of the slip-on cocoon sacks.
