Honeycomb mesh fabric
Hexagon with 3D Flower
Although one may think that non-square motifs aren’t great flower afghan block ideas, that's certainly not true. To this point, here is a flower-themed hexagon that can make an afghan in a honeycomb fashion. Moreover, it gives any blanket a lovely, 3D texture that will be a hit.

Spike Cluster Stitch Purse
Next, here is a project that will take your spike clusters to the next level. You'll need to get 3 colors of yarn, a zipper and some fabric. This purse is large-ish, at approximately 10″ x 4″. Thus, it is of perfect dimensions to find all those annoying little “noseeums” that are forever getting lost in the folds of the handbag..
Iris Stitch In A Rectangle
"The Iris stitch is another one of my favorite stitches. It has a flower-like look, it creates a “Holey” fabric and still has more of a modern look. It's a great stitch to use in blankets or as a border. After designing the Iris stitch in a square, many have asked me if there's also a way to make this stitch in a rectangle, so I had to make another tutorial! This pattern enables you to decide the dimensions of the rectangle by changing the number of the initial chains. "
Essa Blanket Square
"The Essa is an 8″ crochet blanket square with a cozy texture. This simple crochet square features a two row repeat so it's an easy make! This blanket square crochets up as a nice solid fabric, so there aren’t too many holes. I love how the stitches pop in the white yarn. The Essa is a worsted weight blanket square so this pattern will make a great stash buster. This square is part of the Cozy Fall Charity Make Along hosted by Knitting with Chopsticks and Noor’s Knits. "

Iris Stitch In A Square
The Iris stitch is another one of my favorite stitches. It has a flower-like look, it creates a “Holey” fabric and still has more of a modern look. It's a great stitch to use in blankets or as a border. The stitch consists of dc’s and chain which makes it very easy and is what makes it also works up really fast, which is a bonus! When you work a blanket from the middle out, it gives you more freedom to decide the blanket’s size as you go."
