Candy Corn Bear
Candy corn seems to be a seriously polarizing candy! Some of my friends love it while most of my family members can't stand it. Whether you love or hate candy corn, the confection is still a quintessential Halloween treat. I'm somewhat partial to candy corn in small quantities. I was inspired by these sugary morsels to create a tiny crocheted bear (with 0 grams of sugar and 0 calories!). You can make your own little bear with this crochet pattern and tutorial. This pattern is worked in an oval. You will be crocheting around both sides of the starting chain. The finished bear is about 1.75 x 1.5 inches. It works up super quickly with only a small amount of yarn. You can use it as a decoration by your candy bowl or make a bunch to give as Halloween party treats.
Pumpkin Patch Bear
This Pumpkin Patch Bear is large enough to be used a little accent pillow or a huggable plush. The pattern works up pretty quickly. You can make your own bear in an afternoon! It makes for an easy fall weekend project. I'm going to use my pumpkin patch bear as a bright pop of color amongst my collection of white pumpkins! The project requires a few small felt scraps that can easily be swapped out for fabric or small crochet circles.
