I love how this chunky blanket in the pictures below was made using creme yarn, because it allows the texture to really stand out, don't you think? What's more, it makes the ultimate, timeless baby gift. But watch out, once you feel how soft it is, there's no way you won't want to make one for yourself too!

Lineage Basketweave Afghan

Let It Snow Blanket
This Let is Snow Polar Bear blanket is worked corner to corner. I use the traditional method of making three double crochets for each square. This pattern was the first corner to corner project where I followed the written instructions instead of the graph. I had printed the graph on one page and it was too small. I was able to figure out how to split the graph over 4 pages for you guys so you'll have both options. Happy crocheting!
Timeless Teal Chevron Blanket
There is something timeless and classic about a good chevron blanket. I have made my Timeless Teal Chevron Blanket so many times for baby showers that I could probably crochet one in my sleep. This blanket is honestly a huge hit no matter what colour I make it in. I have even made it in colours that I wasn’t particularly drawn to and ended up loving it so much I kept it for my daugther. Using Bernat Blanket Stripes yarn, (my go-to blanket yarn) which is a super bulky, size 6 yarn, this blanket works up in a jiffy. I have made one in two evenings or about 6 to 8 hours.
