As I mentioned before, the basketweave is a classic stitch. What's more, it works absolutely amazing on many different projects. For instance, you can use it to make a blanket, or, as in this case, a pillow. In other words, it's a must try! Make sure to make it in variety of colors!

Fox Pencil Case
With school time quickly approaching, I got to thinking about making something functional for kids to use. So, here's my free pattern for a cute, quick and easy project - a Fox Pencil Case. I used worsted weight yarn and a 4mm hook. You could easily change the yarn color to make this a Wolf Pencil Case. Of course if you don't have any school age children, this pattern could easily be used as a Crochet Hook Case, a Toothbrush Case or a Glasses/Phone Case. Hope you enjoy this freebie.
