Crochet Casserole Blanket

I call this Crochet Casserole because this blanket is designed with leftover yarn ends. The blanket is a simple Corner to Corner (C2C) with a pretty border to finish it off. It works up very quickly and may be customized in countless ways. Perfect for using up yarn ends. I sized this as a baby blanket at approximately 30” x 30”, but it is easy to increase/decrease sizing by changing the pattern repeat. Designed in worsted weight yarn.

Quick and Simple Striped Baby Blanket Pattern

Use this adorable baby blanket crochet pattern to whip up a beautiful, heirloom quality piece in very short order. This blanket works up quickly, and is one of my personal favorites. The variation of stitches keeps it from being boring, and yet it's repetitive enough to work on while you're watching TV, listening to an audiobook, or visiting with friends. The classic picot edging gives this easy crochet blanket pattern a polished look and gives it a timeless feel. This blanket looks beautiful in one color, but can also provide a fun way to play with colors - try anything from bold and bright to soft and muted. Using an I hook and worsted weight yarn, this pattern is approximately 33"x40". Directions included to make this blanket any size you wish.

Gender Neutral Gingham Baby Blanket

"Looking for a gender neutral baby blanket to gift to expecting parents? Look no further. This crochet pattern for a gingham baby blanket will be the perfect gift for any parents who are keeping their baby's gender hush-hush. You will need to know how to chain, single crochet, and slip stitch. This baby blanket with my tension ended up approximately 37 inches x 33 inches. My swatch of 10 stitches x 10 rows is approximately 2.5 inches x 2.5 inches. My baby blanket is 15 blocks wide and 13 blocks tall (block = 10 st x 10 rows), you can alter this as you see fit to make a larger or smaller blanket. I prefer to end each row and column on an odd number so that all corners end in white, for example. All pictures and patterns are copyright of The Loophole Fox unless otherwise noted.
