Stripey Days Baby Blanket

I made this crochet baby blanket pattern in about a day and a half, just working on it in the evenings as I watched TV. I absolutely love how cozy and plush this baby blanket is and that it only took me a little while to make. Because this blanket was made with the scraps that I had, it was also an awesome stash buster and helped clear out a lot of space to use this thick yarn. If you make yours using up your stash, it may look a little different just depending on what you have, but you can also use this pattern for a number of other yarns and colors! It's a really versatile blanket and it's all HDC, perfect for an easy "break" project!

Kids Ribbed Hat

For this free crochet pattern i used blohdc stitch, if you are a beginner you are probably wondering what the heck is a blohdc? Well it stands for back loop only half double crochet, so all those hdc's you have been practicing will come in handy for this pattern. To explain the back loop only bit better is if you do a crochet stitch like a hdc or a dc then you face the top of the stitch like looking bird's eye view,on top of the stitch you will see two loops a front one which is closest to you and a back one and when you go to work a stitch on top of the stitch you made you will go under the back loop of it which is the one furthest away and it's really that easy!
