This is not a traditional crochet Irish rose pattern. I designed it a little bit differently and this time instead of cotton I used an acrylic (worsted) variegated yarn and a 3mm steel hook. The flower looks rich and luxurious and can be used in numerous projects, either as applique or to make unique crochet jewelry.
