"There's a chill in the air, and the Simple Waterfall Vest is ready to keep you cozy in style. Simple really is the key - as you'll see in this free crochet pattern in 4 sizes on Moogly! The Simple Waterfall Vest is a wonderful garment to make - even if you've never made an adult garment before. In fact, it is almost as easy as crocheting a scarf or blanket, because it's really just a fancy rectangle! Worked side to side, and with a simple edging, you'll have this pattern worked up in a long weekend - yay for sweater weather! It's got a lot of stretch and is fun to wear both open and closed with a shawl pin. Made with Lion Brand Wool-Ease, the Simple Waterfall Vest is easy to wear, warm without being heavy, and is so cozy! If you can't wear wool I recommend Lion Brand Heartland as a 100% acrylic substitute with the same weight and great colors."

The Genesis Cardigan Free Crochet Pattern
The genesis summer kimono cardigan has a richly varied structure. Also, its beautiful color bands highlight the alternating voids and denser stitches. Overall, it's a beautiful, casual and playful cardi for everyday.
I wanted something colorful and summery, which can be hard to find when crocheting/knitting. This pattern came to be when I was reading the story of Joseph and The Coat of Many Colors. Now, I'm not going to go into the whole story of Jacob gifting the coat to Joseph, But this particular coat meant a lot to the people of this time. A piece of clothing with different colors represented worth and leadership.
