"The October Square uses interlocking crochet worked in the round to create an interesting geometric design. I think of it as spiders with their legs overlapping to form grids in alternate corners. "A new 12-inch afghan block for you to crochet! This easy-to-crochet afghan square is crocheted with single crochet and double crochet stitches only. You will need to understand how to distinguish between the front and back loops to make this project. This square looks great in a single color, as well as, multiple colors. Working in the 3 Loop of hdc - Instructions: Look at the top of the stitch, and locate the sideways V, bend the stitch to look at the back, and you should see another V. You'll be working into the back loop of that V, this is called the 3rd loop. When working in rows, this loop will be facing you!
