"The October Square uses interlocking crochet worked in the round to create an interesting geometric design. I think of it as spiders with their legs overlapping to form grids in alternate corners. Cabled Blooms 12" Afghan Square
My very first afghan square design! I needed to design a 12" afghan square for a collaboration with another designer, but for the life of me I couldn't come up with a design. Then it hit me! Cables, I need to design a cabled afghan square to stay true to myself. That's when the Cabled Blooms afghan square was born. I love the solid version, but admit that the multi-colored version is great as well. The design includes a couple plains rounds of single crochet at the end that you can omit if you'd like.
