"The Sunset Static Shawl is a gorgeous bias crochet shawl that has a simple silhouette created with the crochet seed stitch as the background (creating the static portion), the V puff stitch, and crossed double crochets. For this shawl I used Lion Brand Mandala Tweed in colorway Lucky Penny because of it's beautiful and vibrant colorway. Mandala Tweed is a medium weight 4 yarn that features 2 strands of different colored variegated yarns twisted around each other, which is what gives it it's tweed look. It took about 693 yards (1.5 cakes) to create the shawl."

Monochrome Bias Wrap Free Crochet Pattern
"Worked back and forth in rows on the bias, the Monochrome Bias Wrap is a great compromise between easy crocheting and a little bit of interest to keep you entertained. This bias crochet wrap is worked in sections with some easy, mindless single crochet parts for a relaxing crocheting experience, and interspersed with interesting sections of mosaic crochet. It's long enough to wrap around the neck multiple times or to drape loosely over shoulders in numerous ways. This pattern is suited to both experienced crocheters and those eager for a challenge. The pattern uses US crochet terminology and includes step-by-step mosaic crochet tutorial."

Desert Sunset Shawl
Colorful, light, and airy, the Desert Sunset Shawl reminds me of my trips to Sedona, Arizona. The red rock structures jutting out above the pine tree forest are beautiful and serene. This is wanted I wanted to portray in this shawl. I strived for a unique design by using a few simple stitches and alternate the stitch pattern in each row. This pattern is made with one skein of Lion Brand Mandala yarn. The colorway I used is called Centaur and it displays a beautiful combination of warm and neutral earth tones.
