Isla Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

"Today's free crochet pattern is the Isla Shawl is a great easy shawl to get stuck into and very quick to work up! It is made up of dc stitches and ch3 loops and it creates this very simple but elegant shawl that is so light to wear. The design of it almost looks like peepholes which makes it really interesting but then with the double crochet rows in between it covers you up also. The Isla Shawl is one of those where you can easily pick up your hook, start crocheting and put it down if you need to without having to worry about if you may forget where you got to, i really like crochet patterns like that as it just fits in to your busy life but you can still enjoy the pattern at the same time."

Isla Scalloped Wrap Pattern

This wrap makes a beautiful piece for the fall season and is created with a simple four row pattern repeat. How difficult is this wrap? It's simple, but it's not for complete beginners. It's got enough variation to keep you interested, yet it's easy enough for those of you who’ve got all the basic stitches down. I guess I’d call it intermediate for that reason. It's so fun to see the different colors emerge as you work through the pattern! Grab your worsted weight yarn and size I crochet hook to get started!

Benita One-skein Shawl

This one-skein crochet shawl pattern uses self-striping yarn to make colorwork easy. This rectangular shawl can also be worn as a scarf in transitional weather. Since it's a one-skein crochet shawl pattern, you won't have many ends to weave in which means you can wear this project as soon as it's finished. This is an intermediate level pattern, but there are only two rows to repeat. Once you get the stitch pattern down, you will find it a relatively mindless and straightforward crochet project. Devon Sideways Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

Devon Sideways Shawl Free Crochet Pattern

Today's free crochet pattern is the Devon Sideways Shawl and this beautiful shawl is a filet crochet pattern meaning that it just uses the double crochet stitch and the chain stitch. I designed a filet crochet blanket not long ago of broken chevrons and wanted to do that as a shawl but i got a bit carried away and in the end it didn’t end up as broken chevrons, it ended up as a double chevron but don't worry the broken chevrons is still on my list to do. This crochet pattern is very easy as it consists of working it row by row, flat and sideways and it works up super quick! This shawl only took me 4 days to complete and then a few extra days for blocking. Even though this pattern is a filet crochet pattern i still like to block my shawls as it gives it more of a crisper finish and it lays more flat.
