I'm happy to share a new free crochet shawl pattern: the Ana Lucia Shawl. I created an elegant shawl with some beautiful details. With yarn that was left I created matching tassels. We tried to make the pattern as simple as possible, taking beginners into account while designing. I came up with a shawl that is made out of double crochet stitches and variations of this stitch, like back post, front post, worked in back loops only. For the beautiful details you only have to repeat 5 rows. That's all!

Pockets on a shawl? What a wonderful idea. This easy pocket shawl is warm and cozy and very easy to crochet. Every once in awhile I ask the crochet community on Facebook and Instagram to tell me what they want to see me design. A crochet pocket shawl was mentioned several times. I just loved the stitch combination used for the Woodland Hooded Scarf, so I decided to use the same stitch combination on this easy pocket shawl. Both the ribbing and the moss stitch is easy for beginners to learn and make a stunning look when used together.

My and my daughter love the idea of the Crochet Pocket shawl! I decided to make my daughter’s Pocket Shawl with a cable style. Sorta like the one I made myself, “the Cable pocket shawl” because my daughter liked mine so much. But I decided for hers I went with more of a basic row repeat to give it more of a cable line look and feel. I really like how the Starfish stitch looks in this design! How about you
