"This crochet bag is a slightly different one from the "Inventive Bag" that I shared before. Someone else wanted a bag exactly as the Inventive bag but to be used as a messenger bag and with a larger size so I added a strap and more rows. In this one I didn't use back loop stitches, I made more rows so there are 20 for each color section. I cross stitched holding two yarns togethers instead of one, didn't sc around in the end each piece separately, I couldn't line it yet but It is fine as it is, I think. I also steam blocked it. And after that process I steam blocked every crochet product I find at home. I loved it. "

Chasing Diamonds Bag
This bag is just so fun, retro and chic! Perfect hand bag with a cross body chevron strap. With just a small section of tapestry crochet worked in just 2 colors, this would make a great introduction to this fabulous color technique! Full color graph is provided for the tapestry crochet section of the bag as well. At approximately 8” tall (excluding strap) x 13” wide, this bag is the perfect everyday go-to size. Line and add a zipper, if desired. Optional d-rings are crocheted directly to the bag for ease of construction and then strap is sewn to d-rings at the end. Strap is a retro chevron design to mimic the diamond design element of the bag. As written, strap is approximately 37” long once sewn to bag allowing the bag to be worn cross-body. However, instructions are provided to resize the strap as well

The thermal stitch creates a nice and sturdy strap for crochet bags! This pattern walks you through the process of adding a strap to your favorite crochet bags and even explains how to crochet onto a D ring or split key ring for added durability.
The thermal stitch, like any crochet stitch, will stretch a little bit, but it is a tried and true method for making robust bag straps.
Cross Crochet Easter Basket Pattern
A Christian twist on the classic crochet Easter Basket - meet the Cross Basket! This design features simple single crochet, an elegant crab stitch edging, and of course a cross applique on the front.
At around 5″ in diameter, I would classify this pattern as a mini Easter basket. I'd like to use it for decor around the house. However, I think you could also make it work with a handle if you wanted to use it for a little one collecting Easter eggs!
