Here's another great mommy-and-me crochet hat pattern. This one is written for six sizes age three months through adult. The hats use the beautiful crochet glover stitch which has rich texture. It's enjoyable to work and it's cozy to wear.

"I came up with this crochet beanie design when I was browsing Facebook and read a comment where a lady was saying that all her hats turned into a wok every time she tried to make one. She said she tried every beginner hat video she could find and just never had any luck with it. She even said when her kids see her starting a hat they'd say “Hey Mom, you making another wok for the head again?”"

"After designing the Knit-Look Super Bulky Slouch for adults, I decided that the kids couldn't be left out of the fun! I had to stop at the store to grab… yarn, ummmm yeah, we'll go with that (we won't mention that the real reason I stopped was for a pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream..shhh…). So I popped over to the yarn aisle and grabbed 2 balls of Lion Brand Hometown USA. I grabbed 2 because I wanted to make sure I had enough to make a big, floppy yarn pom and there's less yardage in Hometown USA than in the Thick and Quick I used for the adult hat. I choose the color Miami Seafoam and it's an absolutely GORGEOUS color. You really need to see it in person!"

"I've had so many crocheters reach out to tell me that they LOVED my Chevron Peaks Slouch. I was pleasantly shocked because it was one of those designs that I really didn't think would garner much attention. All of the positive messages I received were the reason I used the same technique for the argyle stocking and argyle beanie, slouch and messy bun. After making the argyle beanie, slouch and messy bun I realized that by removing a couple of stitches, it created a nice, even diamond design. So that's where inspiration for this one came from. I've got a couple more fun designs coming your way with this technique too! "
