I really enjoyed crocheting this textured baby blanket in pastel. This crochet pattern is a repeat of one row using single crochet and double crochet stitches. These pastel yarn colors just pop with this pattern. I used single crochet and two double crochet to create the puffy look. So easy to work this pattern. This blanket is just the right size for both a baby blanket and a lap afghan. Not too big that it drags on the floor, but large enough to take the chill off. Additionally, some folks like to feel the texture in a blanket and this is full of lots of nice squishy texture.

This beautiful black and white granny square afghan is easy to crochet. It was made for my daughter. I made her a baby afghan many years ago. This will be the second afghan that I made for her. You can add color and style to your wardrobe and home alike when you learn to crochet a granny square. This beautiful black and white granny square afghan is easy to crochet. This blanket consists of 5 different black and white designs. Making 4 of each square. When I started making this blanket, there was no end plan in mind. Once I got the hang of crocheting a granny square, I just started pairing the black and white in different styles. I love how they turned out.

The town she lived in used to be a booming mining town. We would go there and go Agate searching each summer. The crochet borders on this throw remind me of those beautiful gems.
