Diagonal Ripple Lapghan Free Crochet Pattern
For the Diagonal Ripple Lapghan, I modified the Diagonal Chevrons Lapghan pattern to create a different chevron or ripple look. Many crocheters love working the classic crochet ripple pattern in BLO to create a neat ridge effect so I gave it a whirl when working on the bias. If you love to work crochet blankets from corner-to-corner (also known as working on-the-bias) and you love crochet chevrons, then you will really enjoy this lapghan pattern.
Quiet Ripple Lapghan
I love cosying up under a blanket or throw to read a book, watch an old movie or just have a cup of tea! Crochet this simple, two row repeat, ripple lapghan which is just the right size for keeping warm while curled up on the sofa. Perfect for confident beginners or if you are looking for a simple but classic project. This pattern uses a chunky yarn to make a warm but lightweight lapghan. The use of one colour throughout the project makes for a modern look with a hint of retro vintage. The acrylic yarn chosen is inexpensive but beautifully soft.

It's modern, unisex, and features a unique border you'll want to apply to future projects too! I really enjoyed making this blanket - and coming up with a border design that would compliment the 3D aspect of the bobbles, without distracting from them - and I think I've hit the mark! While I made this blanket baby sized, I've included the stitch count along with info on how to create your own custom size!
