Sofie's Throw

My sister asked me to make her a crochet blanket with the Bernat Blanket yarn. Here is the super plush crochet blanket pattern I came up, fittingly called the Sofie Throw!. The yarn is 100% polyester so it's easy to wash and dry in the machine, and it's a #6 super bulky yarn. It's super thick and plush so with a big hook, this works up very quickly. There are so many colors to choose from.

Soft And Sweet Textured Velvet Crochet Blanket

"This soft and sweet textured velvet crochet blanket feels like it should be used in an expensive hotel SPA. Use modern crochet stitches paired with Bernat Baby Velvet yarn to crochet this luxurious throw. Soft and Squishy Afghan The combination of front post double crochet and back post double crochet paired with this silky yarn create a soft and squishy Afghan. When my daughter ran her hands across this blanket, she snuggled her face against the yarn. She said the fluffy and soft blanket was the plushest feeling one yet. We think it is because of the added texture created by the crochet stitches and the fluffy yarn. Pair this bulky yarn with the right stitch and you have a winner. The pattern is a two-row repeat consisting of a row of single crochet, which ads a bit of stability to the entire project. The next row uses a special stitch pattern alternating the front post double crochet and back post double crochet stitches."

Crochet Bundle Up Candy Dots Blanket

I couldn't resist making another Candy Dots blanket with all of these fun Bernat Bundle Up colors! I've loved this yarn since it first came out earlier this year, so I was very excited when I finally got my hands on all these different colors. Bernat Bundle Up is a 100% polyester yarn that is so soft and snuggly and I love the way it works up for baby blankets!

Fireworks Throw

The Fireworks Throw is a great big blanket to cozy up under and watch a movie (or fireworks). It's thick and soft, made with high-quality acrylic yarn so it's easy to wash, and the stitch pattern is so pretty! It makes a wonderful gift for the holidays or just to tell that special aunt, "Thank you". This pattern calls for a bulky weight yarn, and the one listed in the pattern says "super bulky". The yarn I used was just a little thin for a Super Bulky but either will work fine.

Crochet Easy Shell Stitch Blanket

Crochet is know to be so soothing and has been proven to relieve stress. There is nothing better than sitting with a cup of hot coffee and crocheting your favorite crochet project. Crochet blankets are always a popular choice among crocheters , be a beginner or a experienced Crocheter. The crocheted blankets are so versatile. You can combine multiple crochet stitches and make a pretty textured crochet blanket. You can easily make them as small as you want, or as large as you want. Today am sharing the pattern for this Crochet Easy Shell Stitch Blanket. I just love the texture of this stitch. This pattern is very simple to work up. This stitch is made up of double crochets and single crochets worked up in a pattern. The Crochet shell stitch looks complicated, but its just a repeat of two rows and you end up with a beautiful crochet blanket. I have used variegated yarn for the blanket. I love how the color changes and you don't have to weave off the yarn ends in case of using different color yarn at end of every row. You can use this easy Crochet shell stitch pattern to also make a Placemat Tablemat or a full sized crochet afghan blanket or a crochet throw. There You Go Throw

The There You Go Throw is a two tone join as you go blanket made of 6-inch squares - graphic, eye-catching, and so much fun to crochet! Fans of My Big Fat Greek Wedding might understand the inspiration for the name! When I was trying to come up with a name (always the hardest part!), I was talking to some friends about how it reminded me so much of Greek graphic patterns - especially the colors! - and the movie came up. My friend Terri loves it as much as I do, and we decided to quote the character Gus, who loves to explain how things are Greek (even things that aren't), and always ends it with ”…there you go!” Much like some of Gus's explanations, this blanket isn't Greek, but it is join as you go (aka quick to crochet), based on the basic granny square, and ready to make in any size desired for the perfect gift or personal pick-me-up - so There You Go!
