The Fireworks Throw is a great big blanket to cozy up under and watch a movie (or fireworks). It's thick and soft, made with high-quality acrylic yarn so it's easy to wash, and the stitch pattern is so pretty! It makes a wonderful gift for the holidays or just to tell that special aunt, "Thank you". This pattern calls for a bulky weight yarn, and the one listed in the pattern says "super bulky". The yarn I used was just a little thin for a Super Bulky but either will work fine.

This blanket was actually meant to be a baby blanket, but I loved it so much I just made it bigger and kept it for myself. It's a thick and heavy blanket that's so perfect for snuggling into to watch a movie or read a book, which I do a lot of during the Fall/Winter. It's a super easy crochet blanket, but it feels luxurious. It would be an amazing Christmas present if you're looking for something that feels high-end, but it still has a special handmade quality to it. It does use a lot of yarn since there isn’t much in each skein, but I think that the wow-factor you get is totally worth it.

Big Bloom Blanket
The Big Bloom Blanket is cozy, casual, and creates a simple, modern floral afghan with an easy to memorize repeat! And it's a free crochet pattern featuring Caron Simply Soft, on Moogly! The Big Bloom Blanket features a stitch pattern that I used on some holiday patterns in the past - and it's a reader request! However, I've updated it this round, making it even easier to crochet, and adding more texture, with fewer color changes. This makes this pattern a great one to relax with, and gives it a great floral look! While I designed the Big Bloom Blanket to use just 2 skeins each of 3 colors of Caron Simply Soft, this pattern can keep growing as long as you keep crocheting! It's also a great scrapghan pattern - be sure to read the Notes in the pattern for more sizing info!

C2c Heart Blanket Pattern
Today's pattern is super quick and easy, and it's perfect for a last-minute baby shower gift. A couple of months ago, my cousin had a baby girl and I wanted to give her something but I didn't have the time I usually take for a baby blanket. I wanted to make something soft and squishy that the baby would snuggle with and something that my cousin could easily wash and take care of. So I decided to go with a C2C Heart Blanket using a super thick yarn and a big hook, and I'm so in love with the results!
Sugar Plum Throw Blanket
"Winter time is here, and I really loved working on this Sugar Plum Throw Blanket! It is very easy to crochet and works up fairly quickly. The yarn I used is a soft acrylic medium worsted yarn. I used 3 different shades of purple, and I also used white, the exact yarn will be listed later on in the pattern! This is a very beginner friendly crochet pattern and is very easy to follow, I hope you enjoy!"
