Afghan Beehive Baby Blanket

Afghans and Blankets

Afghan Beehive Baby BlanketBees and beehives have been a recurring theme in my crochet life recently, and so have Tunisian crochet puffs. With the Tunisian Beehive Baby Blanket, I brought together my passion for bees and puffs to create this beautifully textured baby blanket. The pattern uses three different Tunisian crochet stitches that are the Tunisian simple stitch, the Tunisian reverse stitch, and the open Tunisian puff stitch. There is a tutorial on how to crochet the open puff stitch. You will need a Tunisian hook with a wire extension to accommodate the entire blanket.

Dream Puffs Crochet Blanket

When I started designing the Dream Puffs Crochet Blanket, I thought it would be a baby blanket - but this stitch is so darn squishy I decided it's for everybody! So here is the Dream Puffs Crochet Blanket free crochet pattern in 5 sizes - you're going to love cuddling up in this one! The Dream Puffs Crochet Blanket uses this fantastic V-stitch and puff stitch combo move that makes for an easy pattern to memorize that creates tons of texture, loft, and warmth. The lovely color changes are created by using two colorways of Lion Brand Scarfie - a self-striping yarn worked in stripes! I used two colorways with a lot in common, but I can't wait to see what combos you all come up with!

Soft And Sweet Textured Velvet Crochet Blanket

"This soft and sweet textured velvet crochet blanket feels like it should be used in an expensive hotel SPA. Use modern crochet stitches paired with Bernat Baby Velvet yarn to crochet this luxurious throw. Soft and Squishy Afghan The combination of front post double crochet and back post double crochet paired with this silky yarn create a soft and squishy Afghan. When my daughter ran her hands across this blanket, she snuggled her face against the yarn. She said the fluffy and soft blanket was the plushest feeling one yet. We think it is because of the added texture created by the crochet stitches and the fluffy yarn. Pair this bulky yarn with the right stitch and you have a winner. The pattern is a two-row repeat consisting of a row of single crochet, which ads a bit of stability to the entire project. The next row uses a special stitch pattern alternating the front post double crochet and back post double crochet stitches."Soft And Sweet Textured Velvet Crochet Blanket

Elephant Baby Blanket

"The Tunisian Crochet Elephant Baby Blanket is a precious blanket pattern that is just right for a newborn, boy or girl! So, just perfect when the parents decided not to know the sex of the baby. Even if you are not an experienced Tunisian crocheter, I can guarantee you that you will not have any problems following this pattern. The entire blanket is worked up alternating two basic Tunisian crochet stitches, the Tunisian Knit Stitch and the Tunisian Reverse Stitch. The use of the Tunisian reverse stitch over the knit stitch creates in a tridimensional texture and creates our cute little elephant here and his hearts!"Elephant Baby Blanket
